![]() ![]() The UI is also rather ugly (pairing smoothed fonts with pixelated sprites never looks good) and some elements lack explanation as I mentioned in another thread, while various systems are not introduced in the demo like the gear add-on method.įrankly playing this I figured the game would've been months away from release at the earliest, not one week away from release. The game reads like a machine translation. The story however is essentially incomprehensible between getting thrown into it with no explanation and the bizarrely stilted dialogue that's full of non-sequiturs. The pixel art looks pretty good but that default classic filter or whatever it was called looks horrendous. ![]() ![]() The encounter rate while moving between already cleared areas is also on the high side. The battle system has a solid foundation with targeting weaknesses and setting up combos to do special moves, but it was very easy I never needed to use an item in battle at any point and never even came close to dying. I finished the demo at 54 minutes after not noticing one of the switches and running around for a while. ![]()
